Teddy Bear Adventure

What a fun day we had with our furry friends! 

We started off by singing a good morning waiata to welcome them to the fabulous Room 3. This was followed by a rotation of activities on the field. There were a variety of games which required us to listen carefully, follow instructions and take turns. We needed to turn our 'brain boxes' on to read and think about the clues for our Treasure hunt. Those teddy biscuits were a yummy treat!

 Thank you to our whanau who were able to visit and share the morning with us. 

Water fun!

In our pool sessions we are learning how to be confident and safe in and near water. 

We have to get in and out of the pool carefully. 

Part of swimming time is learning to be independent and get undressed and dressed again by ourselves. This can be tricky, but we never give up!

ATHLETICS

Every week this Term we have been learning how to do the high jump, sprints, bean bag toss, hurdles and long jump.  It has been fun to practice our long jump skills by running fast, jumping and trying to land as far as we can into the sand.

CULTURAL DAY

We have been learning about the different 

cultures we have in New Zealand.  We have 

found out people have come from many 

different countries.  We dressed up in clothes

that were special to our culture and had a 

celebration parade and shared lunch.

It was fun to see everyone dressed up and

the cultural food was delicious!
